Power Area has been developing a new HVAC system to replace the current cooling system, which leaks throughout the smelting process. The building was built in 1980 which was cast in situ and the roof was precast slabs put on top of the cast in situ beams. The building contains high voltage switchgear rooms, control rooms, and operational offices for power generation plant.

PFC has been awarded a contract by Dolphin radiators to carry out structural and civil works for the replacement of the existing HVAC system in the Power Plant – Jebel Ali. This includes the installation of structural supporting frames, wall openings with steel lintel floor openings in the basement roof for cable entries to MCC panels, and foundation construction for MCC panels.
